02 — Engagement

Four ways to bring us in.

Skills augmentation means different things to different organisations. These are the shapes that work; we will tell you honestly which one fits.

Model A

Embedded engineers

Individual senior engineers join your existing squads. Your backlog, your ceremonies, your definition of done. We supply the person, you direct the work.

Best for
Capacity gaps and specific skill shortfalls
Typical
1–3 engineers, 3 months minimum
Billing
Monthly, per engineer
Model B

Managed squad

A self-contained team with our own technical lead, working your backlog against agreed outcomes. You get delivery reporting rather than day-to-day management overhead.

Best for
A workstream you want owned end to end
Typical
3–6 people, 6 months upward
Billing
Monthly, per squad
Model C

Scoped project

A defined deliverable with fixed scope, milestones and acceptance criteria. Our process, our estimate, your sign-off at each gate.

Best for
Discrete builds with a clear finish line
Typical
6 weeks to 9 months
Billing
Milestone-based
Model D

Specialist intervention

Short and sharp. A production incident that needs root cause analysis, a performance problem nobody can locate, an architecture review before you commit budget.

Best for
Problems with a deadline attached
Typical
1–6 weeks
Billing
Fixed fee or day rate
03 — Selected delivery

What we have actually shipped.

Work delivered in our own name. Client names and contactable references are provided on request, subject to client consent.

Observability and incident root cause analysis

Monitoring and health-check stack for on-premises IIS workloads. Formal root cause analysis of an incident exhausting 32GB of host memory, traced to an APM agent injecting incompatible assemblies via the CLR profiling API — submitted to and accepted by the vendor.

Identity Azure B2C · OIDC

Authentication behind edge services

Azure B2C and OpenID Connect authentication for a line-of-business application deployed behind Azure Front Door, including resolution of correlation failures caused by cookie policy at the edge.
